Avionics Technician

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join our team in Hartford, CT.

Salary: $35-$42 per hour

This is a dynamic role that requires the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and inspect aircraft systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with fabricating and modifying structural components and performing minor composite repairs.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections on customer aircraft
• Fabricating and modifying structural components and performing minor composite repairs
• Conducting hidden damage inspections and assisting with complex structural repairs
• Removing and installing aircraft components as needed
• Operating ground support equipment and ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety standards
• Documenting work performed per manuals and regulations, and participating in 5-S organizational activities
• Assisting with off-site maintenance, towing, and other disciplines as required

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in structural sheet metal repair/modification
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and communicate effectively (verbal and written)
• Certifications: A Certification, A&P Certificate, or Repairman Certificate (preferred)
• Tools & Training: Own basic hand tools, able to obtain Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications, and a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge if applicable
• Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and non-scheduled workdays as needed
