Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of Virginia. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
  • Implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification.
