Job Description:

Job Title: Medical Assistant Trainer

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our training department, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs that equip new medical assistants with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has at least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant I, preferably at VGMHC.
  • Is certified/licensed (CMA or equivalent).
  • Has training experience.

Responsibilities:

As a Medical Assistant Trainer, you will:

  • Create and maintain a positive and professional learning environment.
  • Deliver effective training methodologies both in group and individual classroom dynamics.
  • Conduct specific training needs assessments to support the design, development, and delivery of corporate training programs and strategies.
  • Validate the skill of the new employee using assessments provided by the training department.
  • Provide feedback to management on the performance of new employees.
  • Collaborate with the training team to develop methods, tools, and curriculum for new and ongoing training.
