Job Overview

Our client, Russ Hadick & Associates, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Plant Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide insightful financial analysis to support the plant's operations.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure all accounts are accurately reflected.
  • Analyze financial reports and provide interpretations to management for informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets and forecasts that align with operational goals.
  • Continuously improve accounting processes and systems for greater efficiency.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a 2-year degree; a 4-year degree is highly preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Strong Excel experience.
  • GAAP experience.
  • Experience with accounts receivable management and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Ability to interpret financial reports clearly and provide actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes and public accounting practices is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in work output.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.

Based on industry standards and location considerations, we estimate the salary for this position to be approximately $80,000 - $110,000 per year. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for growth and development within our organization.
