Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our team at HCL Technologies. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development of electrical power systems design and ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand system requirements and reliability requirements, and perform reliability prediction using parts count and parts stress methods.
  • Draft failure mode and effect analysis sheets to identify units posing excessive failure risks and support proposed changes in design.
  • Perform safety analysis activities to demonstrate safety requirements through preliminary system safety analysis and system safety analysis.
  • Use FTA, CMA, and PSA techniques to assess system safety qualitatively and quantitatively.
  • Use software tools like PTC Windchill, Relex, CAFTA, Isograph, and Itemtool Kit for prediction, FMEA, and FTA analysis.
  • Perform testability analysis to determine fault detection and isolation related metrics.
  • Generate reports for analysis tasks performed, capturing results, study approach, observations, assumptions, etc.
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams within HCL and the client organization.
  • Work with cross-functional project teams to support new project proposals.
  • Adhere to delivery schedules, cost, and quality metrics.
  • Guide and mentor junior reliability engineers, delegate work, and monitor performance to ensure delivery schedules, cost, and quality targets are met.
  • Participate in design reviews to provide reliability findings and recommendations.
  • Provide technical guidance, define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
  • Develop and guide team members in enhancing technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
  • Ensure process compliance in assigned modules and participate in technical discussions or reviews as a technical consultant for feasibility studies.
  • Prepare and submit status reports to minimize exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
