About the Role

Ochsner Health is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the operation of the Interventional Laboratory. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for the preparation and execution of imaging procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify physician orders and procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Operate diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT, and Ultrasound equipment to complete imaging procedures according to established protocols.
  • Review patient images prior to transmission to ensure diagnostic quality standards are met.
  • Assist in the facilitation of departmental operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and equipment maintenance.
  • Adapt behavior to meet the specific needs of diverse patient populations, including respect for patient privacy and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Radiologic Technology program in an AMA-approved school.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensed by the Louisiana State Radiology Technology Board of Examiners (LSRTBE).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology and advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology.
