About the Role

The Skydio team is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to protect our company's computer systems, networks, and data against threats. As a key player in our security team, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, improving our security posture, and ensuring compliance with security standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor security tools, logs, and perform security assessments to identify issues, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
  • Develop dashboards, automated alerts, and access controls.
  • Manage and configure security tools (e.g., vulnerability discovery, patch management, EDR, SIEM, MDM, DLP).
  • Assist with regular security audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, particularly in security operations or a similar role.
  • Expertise in Python and strong understanding of operating systems, network protocols, architecture, and security vulnerabilities.

Estimated salary: $185,000 - 220,000 per year, depending on skill level and location.
