Job Description

University Home Care is seeking an experienced Scheduler/Intake professional to coordinate and schedule patient appointments and manage intake processes for new patients in Home Health Care. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the healthcare industry with a salary range of $18 to $25 per year. The Scheduler/Intake is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely scheduling of appointments, maintaining patient records, and collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Scheduler/Intake in Home Health Care, knowledge of home health care regulations and procedures, and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

* Coordinate and schedule patient appointments for home health care services
* Manage intake processes for new patients, including gathering necessary paperwork and insurance verification
* Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely scheduling of appointments
* Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care
* Monitor and track patient progress and follow-up on appointments as needed
* Provide excellent customer service to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers

Requirements:

* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Scheduler/Intake in Home Health Care
* Knowledge of home health care regulations and procedures
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient in computer skills, including electronic medical record systems
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred
* Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
