About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated college graduate to join our semiconductor foundry team at the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department (AMSD) at Raytheon in Andover, MA.

Job Summary

This role involves working in a cleanroom environment, handling GaAs and GaN wafers, and assisting with various lithography, deposition, and etch processes.

Responsibilities
  • Work in a cleanroom environment
  • Handle GaAs and GaN wafers
  • Assist with various lithography, deposition, and etch processes
  • Perform and document optical microscope inspections
  • Perform scanning electron microscope imaging
  • Failure analysis and Data analysis
What You Will Learn
  • Wafer fabrication techniques such as lithography, deposition and etch processes
  • Optical and scanning electron microscope imaging techniques
  • Data analysis and trouble-shooting techniques
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
  • This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
