Job Title: Millwright Technician

CHS Inc. is a leading global agribusiness that provides grain, food, and energy resources to businesses and consumers worldwide. We are seeking a skilled Millwright Technician to join our team at our Myrtle Grove Grain Terminal.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Millwright Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and construction installation activities for all process and infrastructure equipment at our terminal. The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial mechanics, welding, and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Execute maintenance, repair, and construction installation activities for all process and infrastructure equipment
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of plant control, read prints, millwright tools, and instruments
  • Ensure all mechanical safety programs are properly executed
  • Troubleshoot all machinery in the plant and its processes
  • Document performed preventive maintenance
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience working as a millwright in heavy industrial settings
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Qualified in Industrial Mechanics
  • Expert ability to troubleshoot equipment
  • Read Prints
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance
  • Welding
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with considerable periods on their feet, including walking, standing, climbing steps, and climbing ladders. They will also be required to lift, use tools, shovel, and sweep, and must be able to push, pull, and physically lift 50 lbs. The candidate may be required to work while squatting, kneeling, or crawling, and must be able to work in noisy, dusty, and otherwise undesirable conditions.
