Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 8+ years of experience architecting and implementing enterprise-scale networks
  • 5+ years of experience in one or multiple security related fields such as cryptography, network, host, audit, compliance, risk management, application security, penetration testing
  • Experience implementing cloud services in a variety of business environments such as large enterprises and start-ups
  • Experience with AWS or another hyperscale provider
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of industry regulatory and compliance requirements that apply to cloud-based technologies
  • Relevant industry certifications (CISSP, CISA/M, CIPP/CIPM/CIPT)
  • Presentation and written communication skills to include high degree of comfort with technical and executive audiences and experience speaking publicly in front of large audiences
  • Understanding of application, server, and network security
  • AWS Certifications; AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional
Compensation

The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
