Job Title: Speech and Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team at Darien Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing speech and language services to students with communication disorders.

Job Summary:

The Speech and Language Pathologist will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans to support students with speech and language needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech and language development, assessment, and intervention.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support students with speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to provide support and accommodations for students
  • Provide direct and indirect services to students, including speech and language therapy sessions
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress
Requirements:
  • Connecticut Speech and Language Pathologist Certification (#061)
  • Connecticut Department of Health License
Terms of Employment:

Per Contract between the Darien Board of Education and the Darien Education Association
