**Staff Development and Patient Safety Coordinator Position:**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Development and Patient Safety Coordinator to join our team at UMass Memorial Health Care. This role will support the development and implementation of educational programs and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and clinical practice.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing education and quality improvement. At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience is required, with a minimum of 1 year in a preceptor or charge nurse role. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Education, or a related field is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and scheduling educational programs and events
- Supporting quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
- Assisting with the development and implementation of clinical practice guidelines and protocols
- Maintaining accurate records and reports related to patient safety and quality metrics
Salary:** $65,000 - $85,000 per year
