About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at US Oncology, Inc. in Abilene, TX. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our oncology team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients with cancer, adhering to national and company standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess and manage patient/family needs.
  • Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote the continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.
  • Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and other instructional material.
  • Provide psychosocial support to patients and families.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
  • RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Must maintain continuing education requirements.
