Key Responsibilities
  • Design Review and Quality Control: Conduct thorough reviews of engineering designs to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Technical Guidance and Mentorship: Provide expert technical input and recommendations to improve design quality and efficiency, while guiding and mentoring junior engineers in their professional development.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with design engineers to ensure project deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate and comprehensive engineering documentation, including reports and presentations as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Certification: Active Professional Engineering (PE) license in the Southeastern United States.
  • Experience: Minimum 6+ years of experience in engineering design and project management.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills and knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards, as well as experience with relevant software tools.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
