Job Summary

Paragon Security Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' assets and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Control access to client sites and facilities through the admittance process
  • Respond to unusual or emergency situations using the appropriate escalation of force level
  • Provide a courteous and respectful interaction with clients and visitors
  • Monitor entrances and exits, and control the movement of people and vehicles
  • Patrol assigned sites on foot or in vehicle, checking for unsafe conditions and security violations
  • Prepare logs and reports as required
Requirements
  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers
  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing and permit requirements for armed security work
  • Knowledge of security operations and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form
  • Ability to be an effective team member

  • Maintaining composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations

  • Required to utilize rapid and effective judgment in responding to unusual or emergency situations using appropriate escalation of force level
