Key responsibilities include:
- Administering nursing care in assisted living facilities (ALFs), skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), and other post-acute care settings
- Collaborating with residents and medical staff to develop personalized care plans
- Ensuring residents receive appropriate treatments and medications tailored to their needs
- Communicating care options effectively with residents and their families
- Consulting with healthcare professionals, including physicians
- Setting up and monitoring medical equipment
- Ensuring compliance with facility policies and nursing standards
- Documenting and verifying the accuracy of medical interventions and histories
- Performing fluid sample collections for laboratory analysis
- Leading the training and supervision of nursing staff
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 4 months experience in post-acute care or inpatient hospital settings
