Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Telehealth Psychiatrist to join our team at Mindcare Solutions. As a key member of our psychiatric team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients referred for the assessment and treatment of neuropsychiatric conditions, behavioral health disorders, and comorbid conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients referred for psychiatric care, including assessing and treating neuropsychiatric conditions, behavioral health disorders, and comorbid conditions.
  • Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring, including prescribing medications within the limits of applicable State law and following appropriate standards of care.
  • Utilize electronic health records (EHRs) such as Intelligent Routing, Meditech, Epic, and Core to document patient information and communicate with other healthcare professionals.
  • Respond immediately to consult requests received during a scheduled shift.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including 2 PMHNP's, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Perform psychiatric hold evaluations in the Emergency Department as needed.
Requirements
  • Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry.
  • Valid and unrestricted DEA.
  • Must be proficient in using Telemedicine technologies to treat patients remotely.
  • Licensed in FL.
