The Field Claims department is currently seeking Field Claims Specialists to service a designated territory.
This position is open to both experienced and entry-level candidates, who will have the opportunity to investigate and assess multi-line insurance claims through direct engagement to ensure fair settlements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive claim investigations
- Interview insured parties, claimants, and witnesses
- Review police and hospital records
- Analyze claim details and policy coverage
- Inspect property and vehicle damages and prepare repair estimates
- Compile reports of findings and negotiate settlements with insured parties and claimants
- Utilize claims management software, company vehicles, and mobile applications to manage claims in a digital environment
- Deliver exceptional and professional customer service
Qualifications:
For Entry Level Claims Specialists:
- Salary Range: $55,000 - $76,000 annually, based on education, experience, location, and skills.
- Availability and communication during business hours
- Eagerness to learn about the insurance industry and provide excellent customer service
- Ability to work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective problem-solving, negotiation, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Timely follow-up with stakeholders
- Valid driver's license
- Educational background: Bachelor’s degree preferred; AINS, AIC, or CPCU designations are a plus.
For Experienced Claims Specialists:
- Salary Range: $62,000 - $90,000 annually, based on education, experience, location, and skills.
- Availability and communication during business hours
- Preferred multi-line claims experience
- Capability to thoroughly assess auto, property, and bodily injury damages
- Ability to work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective problem-solving, negotiation, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Timely follow-up with stakeholders
- Valid driver's license
- Educational background: One or more years of claims handling experience; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; AINS, AIC, or CPCU designations preferred.
