Your Role

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the processing of first and second mortgage loans, overseeing various closing and post-closing activities. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to collaborate effectively with our origination team and external partners.
- Facilitate the mortgage loan process from application to closing, ensuring timely communication with all stakeholders involved.
- Oversee mortgage closing and post-closing functions, verifying that all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Efficiently handle a queue of mortgage applications daily to ensure prompt follow-up.
- Collaborate with the origination team and other departments to ensure a smooth process.
- Maintain a strong focus on accuracy and detail in all tasks.
- Manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Perform additional duties as required.

- 1-2 years of experience in processing or closing conventional mortgage loans.
- Familiarity with secondary market underwriting guidelines.
- Knowledge of compliance regulations.
- Experience with FHLB funding and servicing is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in computer applications and software.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills in unique borrower situations.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks.

Schedule
