Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Help Desk/Support Specialist to join our team at Core One. This role requires a TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance and involves providing technical assistance to computer system users, including the use of computer hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record incidents and provide support to users
  • Provide a total customer support service as a single point of contact for all issues relating to IT and IS services
  • Provide technical assistance to computer system users, including the use of computer hardware and software
  • Maintain a service perspective, including an understanding of relationships, dependencies, and requirements of hardware and software components
  • Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone, or from a remote location

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance
  • An Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline related to the specific skill
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline related to the specific skill
  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline related to the specific skill
  • A Doctorate in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline related to the specific skill
  • Professional years of experience may be substituted for specialized years of experience at a ratio of three (3) years of general experience within an occupation for one (1) year of specialized experience
  • Relevant certifications will be considered equivalent to three (3) months of specialized experience
