Job Title: Estate Administration Paralegal

Frederick Fox is seeking an experienced Estate Administration Paralegal to support attorneys with the preparation and organization of legal documents related to estate and probate administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in probate administration, including reviewing wills, assets, and managing estate-related processes from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document Preparation: Draft and prepare various legal documents related to estate and probate administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, gathering necessary information, providing updates on estate administration progress, and responding to inquiries.
  • Research & Analysis: Conduct legal research on relevant laws and regulations impacting estate administration.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized, accurate client files and ensure timely filing of legal documents.
  • Coordination with Attorneys: Collaborate closely with attorneys to review, draft, and revise estate administration documents.
  • Probate Assistance: Support probate proceedings by preparing probate documents and managing court filings.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal supporting estate administration attorneys.
  • Experience working within the tri-state area (TN, GA, AL) is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to independently solve practical problems and handle a wide variety of situations.
Preferred Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in legal research tools such as WestLaw, NetDocs, HotDocs, and SurePoint (formerly Rippe).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Skills & Attributes:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting with clients and colleagues at various levels of sophistication.
  • Ability to quickly comprehend and execute oral and written instructions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently.
