Role Summary

FPA is in search of a full-time Lead Transportation Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

This pivotal role involves steering the firm’s expansion in the transportation sector within the Eastern Pennsylvania Region. The successful candidate will possess a robust understanding of PennDOT and AASHTO Design Standards, along with a proven history of effective project management and delivery for various transportation agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute a range of transportation enhancement projects
  • Track project timelines, financials, and resource allocation
  • Formulate and execute a strategic growth initiative for the Pennsylvania Transportation Market
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on identifying new opportunities and preparing proposals
  • Engage in business development and manage client relationships
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members
  • Represent FPA at industry conferences, technical workshops, and networking events
  • Work in partnership with interdisciplinary teams on large-scale projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering and transportation
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania
  • In-depth knowledge of PennDOT, PTC, and AASHTO Design Standards
  • Familiarity with PennDOT ECMS
  • Demonstrated success in project procurement and execution for transportation agencies
  • Experience with PennDOT HOP Permits for private sector projects
  • Excellent communication skills
