As a Medication Aide with HexaQuEST Health, Inc., you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to administer medications to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans. You will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse (RN/LPN) and will be responsible for performing hands-on nursing care, including personal hygiene, grooming, and skin care. You will also be responsible for assisting residents with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans.
- Perform hands-on nursing care, including personal hygiene, grooming, and skin care.
- Assist residents with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for our residents.
- Assist with repositioning residents who are unable to do so themselves.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to residents.
Requirements:
- Must be currently active as a Certified Medication Technician (MA-C).
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting.
- Must be able to lift and move residents as needed.
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
