Position Overview

Newaygo County Mental Health is committed to delivering extensive mental health services to individuals and families within our community. Our mission is to enhance mental health, promote well-being, and ensure access to top-notch care. Our dedicated team strives to positively influence the lives of those we assist.

We are currently seeking a Behavior Technician to deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) support to children and adults diagnosed with Autism. The primary setting for these services will be our Autism Center, with additional opportunities to provide support in clients' homes or within the community.

The selected Behavior Technician will receive training on personalized ABA goal plans, which will include data collection overseen by a Behavior Specialist. This role will involve close collaboration with our Behavioral Specialist to implement programs for clients aged 18 months to 21 years, focusing on enhancing communication, self-care, and various adaptive skills.

This is a part-time role, offering between 0 to 32 hours per week. A high school diploma or equivalent, along with a valid driver's license, is required. While experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred, it is not mandatory.

Compensation: The pay rate is set at $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
