We are seeking a Project Engineer with a focus on Mechanical and HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will possess a four-year degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or a related discipline, or have three years of relevant experience in the construction management or electrical construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the management of project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, quality control, and safety records.
- Support project managers in developing and updating project schedules, as well as implementing mitigation strategies.
- Conduct project cost control to ensure financial efficiency.
- Assist the estimating team with project takeoffs and gathering quotes from vendors and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with project superintendents and managers to supervise subcontractors effectively.
- Experience with AutoCAD/BIM is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Proficiency in document control software is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans is required.
- Maintain comprehensive reports and logs of contract deliverables.
- Support the project team in resolving issues as they arise.
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
- This role is primarily office-based, with occasional relocation to construction field offices.
- Work schedule is Monday through Friday, with potential weekend hours based on project needs.
The annual salary range for this position is between $68,000 and $78,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
