Qualifications:

  • Possess at least two (2) years of recent experience in janitorial services within a facility of no less than 74,000 square feet of occupied space.
  • Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and spare parts.
  • Ability to operate a floor scrubbing machine effectively.
  • Must obtain OSHA 10 Certification.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

The role requires the ability to perform tasks from ladders, scaffolding, and platforms. The position involves working with systems and equipment in hard-to-reach areas, necessitating standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined and uncomfortable positions. The incumbent will frequently lift, carry, and set up equipment weighing up to 20 pounds, with occasional lifting of items exceeding 50 pounds. The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings, often involving exposure to dirt, dust, and grease. There may be frequent exposure to uncomfortable heat conditions and potential risks of strains, cuts, scrapes, bruises, burns, and infections.

Additional Requirements:

As a condition of employment, candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening and have satisfactory reference and background check results.
