Key Responsibilities- Assess Resident Needs: Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer Nursing Care: Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as needed.
- Evaluate Nursing Care: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Supervise Nursing Assistants: Supervise and mentor nursing assistants to ensure they are providing high-quality care and adhering to established standards and protocols.
- Education and Qualifications: Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work.
- Certifications and Training: Must possess a current CPR certification and have the ability to communicate in English.
- Experience and Skills: Previous experience in long-term care is preferred, but not required. Must possess good interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
