Job Overview

Salary: $130,000.00

We are collaborating with a prominent architectural and engineering design firm to identify a qualified Civil PE/Project Manager specializing in Site Development. Below is an overview of the role and its requirements.

Essential Qualifications for the Civil PE/Project Manager:

#1. A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas is mandatory.

#2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in Site Development and Master Planning is required.

#3. Experience with projects involving Office, Retail, Industrial, and Institutional Buildings is essential.

#4. Candidates should have held no more than 3 positions in the last decade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
  • Possession of a Professional Engineer license in Texas is essential.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience is necessary.
  • Preferred additional experience includes:
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management, including planning and oversight of:
    • Understanding of entitlements, including platting, zoning, and municipal permitting processes.
    • Experience in site planning and master planning for development initiatives.
    • Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS.
    • Expertise in grading and drainage design.
    • Experience in the design of streets and alleys.
    • Competence in site design, including water and wastewater systems.
    • Proficiency in hydrology and hydraulics analysis and design.
    • Knowledge of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWP3s).
    • General civil design experience.
    • Experience with construction management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, team members, municipal officials, vendors, and contractors.
