Mental Health Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at Assure Health LLC. As a key member of our administrative team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our clients and ensuring the smooth operation of our mental health services.
Responsibilities:- Conduct benefits and eligibility checks with insurance providers to ensure seamless client support.
- Ensure credit card information is up-to-date and clients are prepared for their sessions.
- Track, follow up, and schedule inbound referrals to ensure timely and effective support.
- Provide backup support to our Counseling and Psychiatry coordinators, answering phones and scheduling patients as needed.
- Serve as a front office resource, handling questions and concerns to prevent larger issues and ensure a positive client experience.
- Advise patients on co-payments, referral authorizations, and other essential details to ensure they are prepared for their sessions.
- Confirm insurance details and assess patient eligibility to ensure accurate billing and support.
- Respond to and interact with a variety of individuals, including clients, referring providers, and administrative team members.
- Associate's degree preferred or high school diploma with experience in healthcare and/or insurance office settings.
- Self-starter with exceptional customer service skills and a track record of handling difficult conversations.
- Coachability and willingness to adapt based on learning and needs.
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to think independently and offer solutions.
- Experience with insurance and billing practices in a healthcare setting, with the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
