Job Title: Creative Director (Art)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Director (Art) to lead our campaign and content creative for.Com and Social channels. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assigning teams, inspiring them to produce exceptional concepts and final work, and working closely with account management to ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Group/Executive Creative Director to address performance, workflow, and quality issues and develop long-range plans for the team.
  • Develop and review creative briefs that provide strategic insight and creative inspiration.
  • Promote a culture of creative quality and accountability and ensure creative deliverables meet client expectations and our own standards of excellence.
What You'll Do:
  • Develop and review creative briefs that provide strategic insight and creative inspiration.
  • Demonstrate to clients an understanding of their marketing challenges and responsiveness to their strategic needs in proposing creative solutions.
  • Train new employees on responsibilities and agency procedures and work with current creative staff to help them achieve professional and personal goals.
  • Work with the upper management team to plan and pursue continuing strategic growth of agency billings and participate in new business pitch opportunities.
  • Develop and evaluate creative concepts, copy, and art at pre-determined points and provide direction prior to review by account management.
  • Set high creative standards that lead to a body of work that creates enthusiastic customers and clients and is consistently recognized by agency management as on strategy and unique.
  • Lead the creative efforts on new business assignments as needed.
  • Ensure that creative presentations to the client meet the highest professional standards.
  • Manage the workload for assigned book of business to maximize the productivity and quality of work from the creative staff.
  • Impart industry expertise and experience to the team.
  • Beautifully communicate creative concepts and strategies to both clients and our internal team.
  • Get hands-on in designing comps, storyboards, initial graphic concepts, and final deliverables.
  • Brainstorm and develop campaigns while working with clients on multiple projects at once.
  • Help ensure that deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Facilitate and participate in the ideation, writing, and execution of original and iconic creative concepts in response to client briefs, objectives, or goals.
  • Extend client relationships and explore new ways to deliver value.
  • Present, share, and review creative work with Group/Executive Creative Director, Account Management, and Planning Leads as well as members of the Management Team.
  • Manage multiple projects from concept through to completion, working with both in-house resources and third-party vendors.
  • Collaborate effectively with Account Management, Planning, and the broader creative team to develop disruptive and iconic work.
  • Provide leadership and professional development to department staff.
  • Mentor and train team members, write performance reviews, and allocate work.
Qualifications:
  • You must have an agency background or justifiable equivalent.
  • Portfolio must include all digital (social, mobile, web) campaign work.
  • Must be conceptual/an idea person as well as a hands-on creator.
  • Must have Tech industry experience.
  • Minimum 8+ years' experience.
  • Solid knowledge of steps required in creative development process: provides guidance to achieve creative direction; gives timely and helpful coaching; and produces all work in a timely, cost-effective manner.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent people-management and coaching skills.
  • Ability to solve problems using keen instincts and organizational experience.
  • Proven mentoring, supervisory, and team-building skills.
  • Hybrid work, but must be able to travel.
