Holbrook Asphalt Co is seeking a skilled Project Auditor to join our team. As a Project Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and identifying areas for improvement. Your duties will include auditing work orders, fleet, materials, and labor, verifying jobs invoiced, and confirming all information and files have been added when a project is created. You will also be responsible for noting any issues on the daily audit log, assisting in resolving any issues presented with our internal cost accounting system, and following up with sales reps, sales assistants, and project management for unresolved issues. Additionally, you will review the billing module when a job is invoiced or in progress, ensure proper documentation exists for warranty projects, and update permissions and roles on our internal cost accounting system for new and current employees. You will also be responsible for updating the inventory form at the end of each month and performing other accounting duties as assigned by your supervisor. To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in accounting or 4 years of equivalent experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, advanced skills in Excel, and the ability to communicate and work effectively with others.
