Job Summary

Pactiv Evergreen is seeking a skilled Operator Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating machines at or above standard levels of operation, troubleshooting and correcting machine-related problems, and providing innovative solutions for production issues.

Responsibilities
  • Operate machines safely and efficiently to meet production standards
  • Troubleshoot and correct machine-related problems through proper adjustments and maintenance
  • Provide support and guidance to less experienced personnel
  • Complete end-of-shift paperwork and accounting for crewing time, machine time, and production quantities
  • Inspect and recognize defective product and make machine adjustments to correct cause of defects
  • Observe and adhere to all housekeeping, standard work, and safety guidelines
Qualifications
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Detailed record-keeping and analytical skills
  • Math skills and basic troubleshooting abilities
  • Knowledge of production measurement tools and principles of thermoforming machines
