We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water/Wastewater Treatment Design Engineer to join our team in Columbus, OH. As a key member of our Water group, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and delivery of major water treatment, wastewater treatment design, and construction engineering services throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement water/wastewater treatment systems
  • Prepare reports, specifications, drawings, construction schedules, and permits for water and wastewater treatment design projects
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for wastewater treatment projects
  • Prepare design computations and opinions of probable construction cost
  • Oversee the construction and operation of water/wastewater treatment facilities
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations
  • Provide technical support to junior engineers and other staff members
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering
  • Current Ohio Professional Engineer (PE) license with the expectation to obtain a license in other states
  • At least 15 years of water/wastewater treatment design experience with at least 5 years of experience in the Columbus market
  • Experience with Water/Wastewater Treatment Design-Build projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to develop, mentor, and lead professional technical staff
