SUMMARY:
- Identify and detain individuals engaging in unlawful activities against Aztec Shops, its staff, assets, or clientele.
- Execute administrative security functions.
- Aid in performing inquiries and collecting information for investigations.
- Accountable for security initiatives and crowd management at events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safeguard and secure company resources.
- Engage in the identification and detention of individuals committing unlawful acts.
- Conduct surveillance to identify and detain persons involved in illegal activities.
- React to medical and other urgent situations.
- Foster relationships with pertinent authorities.
- Draft and submit reports.
- Conduct inquiries and gather evidence.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Assess work environments for potential hazards.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED along with a minimum of one year of experience in retail security or law enforcement.
Skills and Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant laws, codes, and regulations. Experience in conducting inquiries is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
MATH SKILLS: Capability to apply basic mathematical concepts.
DECISION-MAKING ABILITY: Capacity to make sound judgments in high-pressure situations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to operate office equipment, remain standing for extended periods, and apply reasonable force when necessary.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Retail and food service settings, with occasional exposure to moving machinery and varying weather conditions.
BACKGROUND CHECK: A background check is required prior to employment.
