Under the guidance of the Behavioral Services Manager or the Director of Psychological and Behavioral Services, the individual will act as the primary case manager for the behavioral programs tailored to individual students, focusing on the creation and execution of Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP).

This role involves facilitating and documenting the BIP development process, conducting and recording Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), providing training for staff, and evaluating the effectiveness of the BIP through systematic data collection and analysis.

The coordinator will also establish and implement crisis management strategies and provide behavioral assistance within the classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the Behavior Resource Case Manager to integrate team feedback on FBA. Prepare FBA reports and present findings during team meetings, including IEP discussions.

2. Develop and maintain Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) for assigned students, ensuring timely updates to comply with all relevant regulations and institutional protocols.

3. Initiate and oversee data collection systems related to student behavior. Summarize, graph, and analyze collected data, sharing insights with classroom teams.

4. Train classroom personnel on the execution of BIPs and data collection methodologies. Monitor the fidelity of implementation to ensure adherence to established protocols.

5. Provide continuous oversight of progress toward behavioral objectives. Generate quarterly progress reports, annual summaries, and necessary documentation for IEP meetings.

6. Coordinate and execute responses to behavioral emergencies as part of the comprehensive school crisis management framework.

7. Facilitate the implementation of the school-wide positive behavioral interventions and supports system.

8. Complete all required documentation of interactions with parents, transportation providers, and other relevant agencies as per school policies.

9. Conduct in-service training sessions as needed. Upon certification, lead PCM training sessions.

10. When appropriate, offer consultation to transportation staff regarding behavior management on school buses.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:
