Responsibilities

As a Patient Care Technician, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, providing direct bedside care to patients. Your primary responsibility will be to integrate the hospital's mission and guiding principles into daily practice, ensuring that each patient receives high-quality care.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A CNA license (preferred) or STNA certification (required in OH)
  • CPR certification
  • One year of experience in a hospital setting (preferred)

You will also need to demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures
  • Awareness of current infection control requirements and practices
  • Clinical proficiency utilizing policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality
  • Ability to work closely and professionally with others
