Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist II is a key member of the Imaging department at Riverview Health, responsible for operating in multiple modalities to produce high-quality diagnostic examinations and interventions. This role requires independent judgment and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
  • Position patients accurately and select anatomic and technical parameters.
  • Implement radiation protection and safety protocols.
  • Prepare and assist with special and advanced procedures.
  • Administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice.
  • Ensure timely submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department.
  • Observe and report patient condition for signs of change.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) program.
  • Diagnostic radiology experience and competency in secondary modality.
  • State-issued license and CPR certification.
