We are seeking a talented Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN to join our dedicated team at Family & Children's Services. As a Medical Psychiatric Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing medical assistance to adult consumers with mental illness or co-occurring disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical psychiatric assistance to adult consumers with mental illness or co-occurring disorders
- Maintain confidentiality of materials processed and demonstrate knowledge of co-occurring disorders and appropriate interventions
- Minimize the disabling effects of mental illness and substance abuse disorder and empower consumers to manage their health, prevent diseases, and improve overall wellness
- Implement health strategies and incorporate disease management models that address behavioral disorders
- Completion of Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN Program
- Current certification as an LPN in the State of Oklahoma
- No previous experience is required, but previous experience working with clients with mental illness and/or substance abuse is preferred

- 24 paid days off in the first year (prorated for less than full-time and if start after the first of the year)
