Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at ResCare Community Living. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to individuals with intellectual, developmental, or cognitive disabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to individuals as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with nursing practices and regulations.
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
  • Monitor and report changes in individual health status to attending physicians and healthcare teams.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in health, safety, and infection control committees to promote a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of individual service plans and ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities.
