About the Role

Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital is seeking a skilled Registration Associate to join our team. As a key member of our admissions team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and orderly admission of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and verify patient information, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Enter patient data into our computer database, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
  • Distribute relevant information to various departments, as per hospital policies and procedures
  • Process out-of-pocket expenses, deductibles, and co-pays from patients
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Passport, HDX, and other online verification systems (preferred)
  • At least three years of hospital admission and/or ER registration experience (preferred)
