We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Insurance Support Specialist to join our team at ACRISURE. As a key member of our brokerage team, you will provide exceptional support to our clients and carriers, ensuring seamless transactions and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support our trucking broker team by providing timely and accurate data entry, rate quotes, and premium finance agreements.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and underwriting assistants to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Enter data and rate quotes into carrier portals, specializing in trucking and transportation business.
  • Quote and activate premium finance agreements as requested by clients.
  • Order inspections and diary for follow-up as needed.
  • Handle midterm change requests with retail agents and carriers.
  • Request quotes and binders from carriers and deliver to retail agents.
  • Review policies for accuracy against carrier-generated quotes and binders.
  • Diary for missing items at time of binding.
  • Complete surplus lines tax forms and deliver to clients.
  • Work with internal accounting to determine outstanding balances from insurance agents.
  • Document files for communication between clients and insurance companies.
  • Handle renewal processes by obtaining and delivering quotes.
  • Assist with work overflow and contribute to team efforts as needed.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of transportation coverages, including auto liability, auto physical damage, motor truck cargo, umbrella, contingent cargo, and contingent liability.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment and clerical procedures.
  • Qualified candidates will be licensed and have at least three years of related insurance experience and/or training.
  • Prior experience working with trucking and transportation insurance companies is preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong verbal communication skills, administrative writing skills, Microsoft Office skills, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Image Right and IMS system.
