Position Summary
The Production Equipment Specialist is tasked with the setup, operation, and upkeep of machinery utilized in the production workflow. This role requires collaboration with team members to ensure that output is both timely and meets the quality benchmarks established by the organization. Individuals in this position are expected to maintain productivity, uphold quality, and adhere to safety protocols while continuously seeking enhancements in processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and configure machinery for production, perform routine maintenance, and ensure that equipment is functioning at peak performance.
- Operate machinery in accordance with established procedures, monitor production metrics, and uphold quality assurance standards.
- Conduct regular inspections, troubleshoot machinery issues, and make necessary adjustments during the manufacturing process.
- Document production statistics, machine configurations, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Achieve production targets, comply with safety regulations, and follow company policies and training protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Comprehension of manufacturing methodologies, mechanical skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively, interpret work instructions, and understand measurements.
- Physical endurance, ability to remain on feet for extended periods, and effective communication skills.
