We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic X-Ray Technologist to join our team at Fast Pace Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and imaging services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic exams and procedures, including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and other imaging modalities.
- Assist orthopedic providers with patient assessments and examinations.
- Apply casts, splints, and other orthopedic devices as ordered by providers.
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake.
- Educate patients on device care, mobility restrictions, and follow-up appointments.
- Perform phlebotomy, lab testing, and other basic nursing tasks as needed.
- Monitor and track x-ray orders to ensure timely completion and submission.
- Assist patients with proper positioning during exams to ensure diagnostic quality.
- Review exam images for initial read by providers and send final images to radiology group for over-read.
- 1+ year of experience as a certified Radiologic Technologist.
- Indiana Residents Only: Limited Scope License requires a State License and proof of ARRT License.
- High School Diploma or Its Equivalent.
- Full Scope X-Ray Technologist State License, Limited Scope X-Ray Technologist License, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Flexible schedule options Monday to Friday only (including 4x10's).
