We are looking for a talented Incident Response Specialist to join our team at Evolver Federal in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in incident response and 5+ years of experience in security operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responding to Security Incidents with Strict Adherence to Codified Triage Process and Procedures
  • Performing Basic Event Correlation and Validation Activities
  • Identifying and Documenting Any Security Risk Associated with Security Operations/Engineering
  • Documenting Recommendations for Automation and Innovation ICW SE SHIFT SME

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading mid-day shift change bridge calls and creating and updating incident, request, and work orders daily.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $90,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5 years related experience in security operations
  • Bachelor's degree or 10 years of hands-on security work experience
  • US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain an agency-specific Public Trust clearance
  • 2 years of experience with Splunk SIEM application
