The base pay for this position ranges from $136,000/year to $222,200/year, depending on the location.
Job Description
We are looking for an Applied Scientist to join our Response Model Team. Your goal will be to enhance advertising efficiency, improve the shopper experience, and promote SB product recognition. You will collaborate with different teams across Amazon Ads to build scalable online and offline ML infrastructure systems.
Your Responsibilities
You will drive end-to-end Machine Learning projects, perform hands-on analysis and modeling of enormous data sets, and develop insights that increase traffic monetization and merchandise sales. You will also build machine learning models, perform proof-of-concept experiments, optimize and deploy your models into production, work closely with software engineers, and establish scalable processes for large-scale data analysis and model development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have 3+ years of building models for business applications, a PhD or Master's degree in CS, CE, ML or related field, and experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related languages.
