Job Summary:
We are in search of a dedicated Kitchen Sanitation Specialist who will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experience. This position involves the transportation and thorough cleaning of kitchen utensils and service ware, alongside maintaining cleanliness in work areas and restaurant equipment. The ideal candidate excels in multitasking and thrives in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality work, while fostering a friendly and productive team environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Clean pots, pans, and trays, and ensure silverware is polished
  • Sort and dispose of waste, placing it in designated receptacles
  • Sweep and mop floors, and clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other surfaces
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; restock tools and supplies for subsequent shifts
  • Monitor the premises and collect any room service/bar trays
  • Maintain temperature logs and keep the walk-in cooler/freezer organized
  • Assist in clearing tables
  • Support line cooks in proper food preparation, storage, and dating

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with food service regulations is preferred
  • Proficient in using hand tools or machines required for the role
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of lifting, carrying, or pulling heavy objects
  • Willing to stand for extended periods
  • Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks effectively
