Green Energy Biofuel LLC (GEB) has been a leader in recycling for over 16 years, focusing on providing biofuel feedstock to major biofuel producers globally. Our biofuels are sourced from renewable organic materials, such as vegetable oils and recycled cooking oil, making them a sustainable alternative to traditional fossil fuels.
Our primary operation involves the collection of waste cooking oil from diverse sources, including restaurants and food manufacturers. Recently, we have broadened our services to encompass composting and depackaging, aimed at assisting food manufacturers in minimizing waste.
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Class A truck driver with a tanker endorsement to manage the collection and transportation of used cooking oil (UCO) for our clients. This is a full-time, day shift role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all company policies and comply with federal, state, and local regulations for safe vehicle operation.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of vehicles and equipment, performing minor repairs as necessary.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any mechanical or safety issues to management.
- Ensure proper maintenance and storage of hoses and equipment, preparing all necessary tools before the workday.
- Efficiently maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions.
- Collect used cooking oil from clients and transport it to designated processing locations.
- Promptly report any accidents involving company equipment.
- Maintain accurate route documentation, including fuel purchases and mileage records, as required by regulations.
- Report any delays due to breakdowns, weather, or traffic conditions.
- Complete daily trip logs using ELD software and submit mileage reports at the end of each day.
- Assist with various projects and operations at the plant when not driving.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of two years of CDL driving experience.
- Demonstrated experience as a commercial truck driver.
- In-depth knowledge of applicable DOT regulations.
- Valid CDL with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing.
- Ability to operate a truck with a manual transmission.
- Tanker endorsement is mandatory.
- Flexibility and willingness to engage in various plant projects and operations.
- TWIC Card is preferred.
- Commitment to supporting and promoting green initiatives.
