Automotive Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at BMW of Kinston. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance work on customer and dealership vehicles.

• Receive and execute repair orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs.
• Provide accurate labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services.
• Perform high-quality and efficient repair services for various automotive systems, including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure repairs are complete and meet factory standards.
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation for repair services.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and account for dealership and personal tools.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and parts department employees.
• Participate in ongoing training and education programs to stay up-to-date on the latest BMW technologies and processes.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent mechanical, electrical, and computing skills.
• At least 2+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience in a professional environment.
• Previous European automotive technician experience is a plus.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
