Key Responsibilities
The Project Geotechnical Engineer/Civil Engineer will lead project work and engineering assignments, working closely with teammates, design professionals, and contractors. Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading project planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Evaluating field and laboratory testing, and performing field services.
  • Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including clients, staff, and contractors.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • B.S. Civil Engineering required, with emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering, or Engineering Geology preferred.
  • Familiarity with geology and site conditions in New England.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Rhode Island and/or Massachusetts, or, holds F.E./E.I.T. and ability to obtain P.E. within 1 year, required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of related engineering and project management experience, or demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions required of Project Geotechnical Engineer.
